Now this is probably the most intesting damage I've sustained so far. Before Moab I put a lift shackle on teh rear suspension. When you do this to an XJ you tend to cause the exhaust to bind on teh springs. Because of the binding exhaust, and me not having a turndown tip (I crushed it in Big Bear and cut it off), the hot gasses were pointed directly at the right hand bumper guard.

On the way out to Moab I stopped at a gas station about 75 miles from home to get something to drink, this is what I found.
